  • Pre-School Gymnastics

    Our pre-school gymnastics classes promotes independence whilst improving fitness, co-ordination and cognitive skills. With expert supervision and a playful environment, it’s a great way for them to have fun whilset laying the foundations of a healthy, active lifestyle. 


    Age 3-4.5 years 

    Tuesday 

    4:15-4:50pm

    9:00-9:35am 

    9:40-10:15am 


    2 week taster session cost: £13.00


    1x 35 minute session a week: £24.00 a month per child, payable monthly in advance. 


    There is an annual insurance payment to British Gymnastics which is compulsory for every child participating in gymnastics throughout the UK, costing £18.00 a year via BG's website. 


    We do not charge an additional monthly club membership fee.  

  • Beginner Girls Gymnastics

    Our Beginner classes are a great introduction to gymnastics for school aged children to learn essential gymnastics skills. Each session is designed with progression & fun in mind, giving gymnasts the skills needed to progress through our pathway in our fun & friendly environment.

    Our Beginner classes are a great introduction to gymnastics for school aged children to learn essential gymnastics skills. Each session is designed with progression & fun in mind, giving gymnasts the skills needed to progress through our pathway in our fun & friendly environment.

  • Recreational Gymnastics

    Our Recreational classes are the first level up from our beginner classes. These classes are designed for gymnasts who have achieved all the skills within a beginner session. Gymnasts will learn the next level up skills needed to progress through our pathway whilst having fun in our friendly environment.

At Shooting Stars we have a team of experienced, passionate & qualified coaches. With their expert knowledge and background in gymnastics our coaches are able to provide a high standard of coaching and support. All our coaches are:
•British Gymnastics qualified
•DBS checked
•Safeguarding & welfare trained
•First aid qualified

What does my child need to wear to their gymnastics lessons?

Pre-School: Leggings/jogging bottoms with a t-shirt

Beginners & Recreational:  Leggings/jogging bottoms with a t-shirt or a gymnastics leotard if preferred (cycling shorts/leggings may be worn over the top of leotards)

Intermediate, Pre-Advanced, Advanced, Novice and Squad: Gymastics leotard with cycling shorts/leggings over the top of leotards


What child protection and other policies does the club follow?

A disclosure and barring service (DBS) background check is completed by British Gymnastics on all staff & coaches. The DBS prevents unsuitable adults from working with vulnerable groups, including children. The club has a full time welfare officer who has been fully trained by British Gymnastics & Sports Coach UK. Please refer to our policies page for more information.
